If I needed a shoulder to cry on
Would you offer me yours
To reach me in a crisis
Would you break down all doors
If I was insecure
Would you give me reassurance
Would you stand by my side
Through every bad occurrence
If I called in the middle of the night
Would you come, no questions asked
Would you always honor and respect me
No matter what happened in the past
Would you dry my tears
When I am stricken with grief
Would you go to any length
To fill me with belief
Would you offer yourself completely
Doubt and inhibition free
If I had just one more day to live
Would you share in it with me
Are you the man I long to see
Walk through the door each day
I hope I'm not mistaken
Please tell me this is your way

HUMILITY
Step wise, O Horseman of my heart,
Lest wrongly you decide
Which barren road is best to flee
The Valley of My Pride.
I
With all my heart
I wish you the best
as you head off
to make your way
Gone are the days
when you needed me
when we laughed
and
Your way, my way,
back roads, the highway
which one shall we travel down?
Your dreams, my dreams,
fantasies, realities
blending
Do you feel amazing in your fall from grace
The words that scorned each sentence makes
You would not leave a stone
