I have seen many paranormal shows, read a few articles and even visited some popular web sites. I am not totally against the idea; it's just not safe and nor very helpful, in my opinion. The idea of calling a spirit and/or tracking it with devices is not a clear way of detecting it or understanding it. If you don't know the spirit that your calling, or if that spirit has good or bad intentions. If mistaken with the entity being called, which I have seen people fooled, can do more harm than you know. Not just to the person calling it but to everyone in the house or room. I take this very serious and is not entertainment, as it has clearly been portrayed these days.

I am a spiritualist, and have been dealing with spirits in one way or another for over 10 years. I have been taught, in my opinion by the best in the business. I was taught to crawl before I walk. Just because you can see, hear or talk to a spirit, it doesn't mean you can work with one. I have been to quite a few sances and things have gone bad and many mistakes have been made. Many people don't realize that a spirit doesn't just "go away". If not dealing with it correctly, it will stay or leave, then eventually come back. You have to know all the facts of the spirit, the who, what, when, where, why, and how. It's like reading a book from the beginning to the end, along the way you find out the missing details. If you read the book and skip pages or chapters, you will surely miss some important information. And unlike a book, you just can't skip back a few pages. You have to start all over again and can be very time consuming and expensive.

Calling a spirit down to talk to it is not easy. Neither is sitting at a table to see, hear, listen and be able to appease it so it can leave for good, this is not an easy job, remember a spirit does not want to leave. The spiritualist has to find a way/reason for it to go and not come back. This is what a true spiritualist will do and is all about. Not someone who will walk in a place, call a spirit and ask it simple questions not even knowing the facts about it, then assuming it was taken care of. Or lighting candles and burning incense, this helps but doesn't take care of the problem. There are many fakes out there to steal your money, not just for the money but to get some recognition and referrals.

Well that is something like what they do on the paranormal shows. They pull out devices and recorders to detect activity. Those devices can't follow spirits, a person can. I do not want to knock the paranormal investigators; it's just something that I don't have much faith in right now. I would rather have a true spiritualist come in and do the right thing. Remember a spirit is energy and our physical eyes can't follow it, but our psychic eye can.
