Poetry: Bottom of the barrel

by Mystrywtr

Created on: April 28, 2008

I wish I would have listened mom

I am not sure if I can see right

I can not hear so clearly from here

Everyone tells me I'm worthless

I hear this all the time

I try to raise my hand and get ahead in life

But I am always told I'm useless then smacked in the rear

I try to remember what you said

I wish that you were here

Life is not so good down here

At the bottom of the barrel
