Poetry: Free-for-all

by Mystrywtr

Created on: April 28, 2008

I thought you said you loved me
You really had me fooled
You said your love was all mine
But then he said that too

You told me that you would never hurt me
I was the one for you
You told me that I should love
And that you would do so too

You told me we would marry
And I would have your heart
But it was very scary
How you tore it all apart

Your love is nothing but a free for all
Your life is just a game
There you stand bright and tall
And then he said the same

She's nothing but a free for all
Everyone agrees
She's nothing but a free for all
He number's carved on trees
