Poetry: Frustration

by Brian Caron

Created on: April 28, 2008

7:30 it starts

A brand new day

A stabbing, shrieking

Gory new day

History, English

Then English again

Then P.E., which happens to be

A lovely godsend

Then Lunch, then Science

Then Geometry starts

School is a place

That devours good hearts

2:17 is when life can continue

Except that we're stuck Home

With nothing good to do

I clean, I mediate

I punch, kick, bite

And instigate

School may be a bleeding ground

But Home helps spread

The bad mood around

Every now and again

There's a break in the action

A feel-good way to put

Hate into inaction

Church, Movies, Theme Parks

And other examples

Are things that feel good

But soon get the goods trampled

So frustration is a byproduct

Of dysfunction and pain

I hurts and it steals

And it makes life a bane
