You act like you don't know me
but we're alike, we two
The darker side in action
I am the abyss in you
Dare not, my faithless man
to try, in your folly, to look away
For you can no more hide from me
than from yourself in light of day

meeting anger that you cannot stave
When these two bond at last
then come I for you to enslave
You cannot know me, fool
for I have you in my cage
By the time you recognize; too late

And by then you have no control
you are mine, a weapon, to yield
And, as always, you will fall
to me upon that field
of turmoil
