Inner beauty defines the personality. Everyone remembers the person with the sparkling eyes. We enjoy the company of a person who resonates with peace from within.

People beautiful on the outside are limited in numbers which makes them a valuable commodity. Look around you when you're shopping in a grocery store. We see overweight people, geeky people and people with bad complexions. Men, women and children come in all shapes and sizes, contributing to the diversity of a culture. All well and good. Now, how many pretty people do you see? Pay attention to this every time you go out. Watch for the beautiful people. When I look around; I find that most people are average-looking.

We value beauty. We watch beautiful people on television and want to be like them. What happens before the public adores them? Their outer beauty comes in the form of injections, implants, and face lifts. Their make-up hides faults and accentuates beauty. I've seen perfect abs air-brushed onto an otherwise unremarkable stomach. Girls in shampoo commercials often wear wigs. Men and women admire and adulate the famous quarterback. Women wish they could be the curvy cheerleader.

Imagine opening a beautiful woman as if she were a present. Discover what lies beneath the bright colours of the wrapping paper. Reach out for the person who lives within the beautiful present. If you want a lasting relationship_ find out who dwells inside. Turn your eyes and thoughts to her inner essence and pick up her energy signal. Every body sings a melody. We only have to listen. Imagine that rich, deep resonating notes come from inner beauty. High melodic notes sing of a person's joyous spirit. No one can hide from their inner song.

A clashing, sharp noted song belongs to someone in turmoil. Weigh the value of the beautiful person in comparison to the song she's singing. Beautiful outside differs from beautiful inside. Which has the lasting value?

Men are beautiful too. Women look for strong muscles and good hair. We want to know the color of his eyes and listen to the sound of his voice. Women flock around him and less attractive women watch and dream. Think of this beautiful man and in you mind's eye see him holding your two month old baby. Imagine you were crying and looking to him for comfort. Muscular arms can capture a woman's eyes. Comforting muscles cherish a woman's dreams. Find out if he values a good woman_ attractive or not.

Listen to his inner song. His notes might be clashing and discordant or maybe they flow like rain. Feel his energy, sensing if his tone is pure and light or dark and muddled. Listen to the beat of his heart and then look at his outer beauty.

Sometimes inner and outer beauty match. But don't count on it.

The high school cheer leader and the football star image thrills us. We like our beautiful movie stars.

As the years pass, the cheer leader ages and her body changes. The football star puts on a few pounds and his attractive muscles sag. What of our movie stars? The beautiful men and women on the television and in your local theatre dazzled us from the beginning. Where are they now?

Look for the inner beauty. The inner beauty bears the strength of the person, shoulders the grievance and tears, and coddles the warmth of the heart. Look for the person who sees outer beauty but cherishes and nourishes the soul. Listen to their song and you will know the natural beauty of a real person lies within.
