When the sadness is too strong
And your heart has lost its song,
If you're running out of joy,

Don't let the dark one near,
Or fill you with his fear.
If you're running out of strength,

Once you kneel before God's throne.
If you're running out of hope,
Take mine.
Behold the angels' work,

If you need to feel His love,
Take mine.
No greater love that dwells
Than giving of ones self.
If you're running out of time,
Here's mine.
