Poetry: When you think you're alone

BURDENED_

When the sadness is too strong
And your heart has lost its song,
If you're running out of joy,
Take mine.

Don't let the dark one near,
Or fill you with his fear.
If you're running out of strength,
Take mine.

You will never be alone,
Once you kneel before God's throne.
If you're running out of hope,
Take mine.

Behold the angels' work,
Fulfilling spoken Word.
If you're running out of faith,
Take mine.

When the pain becomes too much
And you cannot sense His touch.
If you need to feel His love,
Take mine.

No greater love that dwells
Than giving of ones self.
If you're running out of time,
Here's mine.
