By now, you have made some important decisions on how and what you are going to do. You need to take the information that you have gathered and set goals for yourself. Each goal in the areas that you need to define must have a long term and a short term side of them.
Your Financial Goals
Think about The money that you would like to make. Set a time frame for that amount. Put that amount in a place that you will see. Decide what that profit will do for your life in realistic terms. Will you pay bills with the money ? Copy your bills and mark them paid. Want a new car or boat? Have the picture of the exact model where ever your work space is.
Look at your budget and think about the money that you have available for your business . If your business has a start up cost, such as a price for a website or a kit, figure that into your budget. View all l the aspects of your businesses and make a list of the things and services that you are going to need. Some costs will be immediate and some can wait. Some costs will be one time and some will be recurring. Start with the things that you need immediately. Make a list of the costs that will and can be longer term goals. Calculate what your seed money to get started will be, and know if your personal budget can handle the load.
Decide how much time that you want to devote to your business. This is a real commitment that you must make to yourself . You must put your commitment in writing and actually schedule it into your week.
Set an block of time for your business. You must determine the amount of time that you are willing to devote to your business. It in extremely important to schedule your business time into your week. That may mean that some television time may be given up to move forward in your project. The great thing is that you can determine how far and how fast that you want to move. But you must set time goals in building the foundation of your business. Be realistic about your time. Though you want to move fast, you must be realistic. There are more than likely other people and factors that enter into your time. Only you can set your time frame goals, but understand how it affects those that live with you. It can be done, you just have to learn to use your time very wisely.
