What to expect on a cruise

Just the mention of going on a cruise sends my heart racing. I have cruised before and feel there is no other way to travel. A four night or a thirty night cruise should be the same as far as relaxing, dining and entertainment. Once everything has been set up you leave everything to the cruise line.

Upon arrival enter your cabin and put your things away. You do not have to pack again until time to leave. While you're sleeping they will take you to your next port of call. If you want to participate in what they have planned for that day or evening and they have plenty, you may do so. If you want to just relax and only do a few things that is perfectly all right. It is your vacation.

Everyone has an opportunity to find something they like to eat aboard instead of walking the streets trying to satisfy all. You will be dinning at a table with other people from all over the world. This can be a delightful experience and you could make new friends for life. If you do not like the people at your table you can move. In the past few years they have private dining in their own shipboard specialty restaurants. One would think how could the food be any better in these restaurants? Just remember, there are less people to care for and they have a different menu. You could possibly have six to seven meals a day if that's your forte, on your balcony or other various places.

Some of the amenities include a full line of fabulous spa experiences. In their salons stylists will coif the newest hairdos for you or repair the one you're sporting at this time. Manicures, pedicures, waxing, massage and anything else along that line are readily available. Just call for an appointment.
Now that you are totally relaxed you may wish to sit by the pool or get into a hot tub. You set your schedule no one else does. If Lady Luck sits on your shoulder then the casino or the bingo lounge might be calling your name.

After a lovely day of sun/shade and fun look forward to a night of dancing and entertainment. Not to mention some of the most wonderful walks around the deck looking at sunsets or stars that seem to be close enough to reach and pluck for the taking.

The moment has arrived the magnificent vessel has docked and excited passengers make ready to explore new ground. Purchase treasures and get a dose of the local culture. This too, can be
ala-carte. You can just walk around or you can soak up as much history as time will allow. The great thing about a cruise is you get an idea if this is a place you might like to stay for a longer period of time. It would be a shame to take your week/weeks worth of vacation and travel to a place that you did not enjoy.

As you see I know what to expect on a cruise and I think you should too. Bonn-Voy-Age
