Simple tips to prevent a DUI:

The age ole question, what are some simple tips to prevent a DUI? There are several tips I can give to prevent you from getting a DUI. If you are going to drink "don't drive." This is one tip that every drinker should abide by. You should always have a designated driver, if you are going to drink. Many people who drink say one thing and do another. They will say, "Oh I would never drink and drive," But just as surely as they begin to drink, it is like those words fly right out of the window. Drinking and driving don't mix! I have several friends who have drunk at one time or another. My spouse is s drinker also, and I have heard him make the statement, "I can drive just as good, if not better when I am driving." What a bunch of bull! I have been in the vehicle with him and with others when they are drinking. Swerving from one side of the road to the other, promising myself that, I will not do this again.

Yes! My husband is a good driver, but he has no business behind the wheel of a car, while he is intoxicated. My husband or no one else have that right to make that decision, to drink and to drive. I ask him the question, "what if you were to have a car accident, and it was to kill someone else, how would you feel?" I notice a silence when asking him this question, but yet he has been guilty of drinking and driving. Now days, I try to make sure he does not drink and drive, because I would feel like it would be my fault for allowing him to drive while intoxicated.

Another tip would be not to drink at all. If you don't drink then you don't have to worry about being intoxicated. Again, if you will be to drink, stay home and do so. Our highways are not a place for drunk drivers. If you stay at home and drink, then you don't have to worry about taking someone else's life, or crippling them up. It just isn't fair to others to have to worry about drunk drivers.

So here are a few tips to prevent a DUI:

1. Stay at home if you are going to drink.
2. Don't drink at all.
3. Have a designated driver if you are going to drink.
4. Give someone else your keys if you plan to drink.
5. Make plans before you drink and make sure to have a non-drinker with you.
6. Just don't drink and drive.
7. This is the one I have heard some say, "Don't get caught." This one is not a good
Answer.

This is my tips for preventing a DUI. Please don't drink and drive! This is the best answer; I can give to anyone that does so. It is not fair to you or to anyone else, don't drink and drive.
