Turning forty
A bread-maker truly is
A helping hand for busy moms
Just toss the dough and yeast right in
The smell will bring applause
But when she's turning forty
Something special is expected
A Spa, massage or jewelry
Will tell her she's respected
So listen up all you men
Whose ladies are turning forty
Think before you purchase
I'm giving you fair warning
Something that will help her cook
Or clean a little better
Just may land you on the couch
Or divorce court even better
A woman turning forty
Is like a ticking bomb
She's most likely seeing crows feet
And her trim waistline is long gone
So if you want to keep her
Happy and content
Pamper and adore her
Make her think she's heaven sent
A heart shaped box of chocolates
Or flowers and perfume
Will show her that you love her
Just like when you were her groom

I look like my dad..
I tend to move quite slowly now,
and find aches when I do,
I find that stairs are murderous,
and toe nails
Feeling sad cause you're turning 40?
I'm twice that now and feel young and sporty.
I walk two miles most every day.
I do chores,
