Hillary Clinton has about as many qualifications to become president as most any other senator in congress, but I think the more important issue is whether or not she has the strength of character and personal fortitude to reveal her true political convictions and inner feelings to the public. I don't think so. I believe that Hillary Clinton will do and say whatever is necessary to get herself elected, and then if and when she is elected, she will preside over the office of presidency just as her husband did, relying on polls and public opinion to make all of her decisions. She's is nothing more than an empty suit, just as her husband is.
The Clinton's history is racked with one scandal after another, including the Whitewater controversy, the Travel-gate debacle, the mysteriously missing files in the "File-gate" investigation, and when allegations were made against her husband in the Lewinsky scandal, Hillary Clinton attributed this to a "vast right wing conspiracy". Sure. The list goes on and on, ending with the Clintons attempting to leave the White House with property which didn't belong to them. Isn't that stealing?
I guess Hillary has the same qualifications to be president as her husband did, but the bigger question is whether or not the public is willing to tolerate at least four more years of the Clinton circus in Washington. I, for one, hope not.
The American public needs and deserves the leadership of an experienced and proven leader capable of holding up to the pressures of the Oval office, while at the same time offering a true example of a person of strong character, someone we can all be proud of, someone that can be held up as a fine example for our children. I don't believe Hillary Clinton fits the bill, but ultimately it will be up to the American voter.
It would seem to me that there has to be more to our presidential candidates qualifications than simply talking to please the audience which happens to be listening at the time, and there must be true substance to the person, something apparently lacking in the Clinton's repertoire. It is the opinion of many Americans, that eight years of the Clinton's is enough, and now it's time to move on. I agree.
