Legends On the Niagara golf course is located south of the falls and offers world class 18 and 9 hole golf as well as tournaments, breathtaking water views.

The falls are illuminated each night by a combined effort from the US and Canadian governments and fireworks over the falls are attended by thousands each Friday night during the summer season.

The Niagara Winter Festival commences November 8th and extends over the Christmas and New Years holidays is a popular destination for travelers who wish to see the frozen beauty of Niagara Falls. The Festival of Lights glows with lights along the Falls and illuminations dot the landscape nightly.

This year Disney's Beauty and the Beast is performed at the Niagara Center for the Arts from December 1 to January 3rd, 2009. There are also two casinos with live shows and Vegas style entertainment at the Niagara Casino Hotel and the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort.

Cross border traffic is less hectic during the week and peaks on the weekends therefore planning ahead make it a lot easier to avoid traffic jams at the US -Canadian border crossings. A passport is almost guaranteed to make things easier also when arriving into Canada. From the US visitors enter into Canada by 3 bridges the main bridge is the Rainbow Bridge right in Niagara Falls. The other entrance is through Buffalo, NY at the Peace Bridge or Lewiston Bridge to the north.

There are many bus tours that arrive to Niagara Falls from all the northeastern states and Canada where visitors generally stay several days to a week.

The best seasons to visit Niagara Falls is either late April to May to early June to avoid the busiest part of the season. Also early fall in September and early October are on the hinges of off season traveling. Winter visits are also not as busy and very romantic for travelers.

As Niagara was once considered the " Honeymoon Capital of the World" by local businesses if you are planning a honeymoon there are packages at hotels which offer the married couple a bottle of champagne, flowers and gift baskets.

As a destination for tourists of all ages and interests Niagara Falls offers beauty, entertainment, fine food and spectacular views of a magnificent waterfall there for all to enjoy.
