Poetry: The Spirit

SEEING WITH THE SPIRIT

Can you see what I see
Says the blind old man
It it so crystal clear as can be
in my mind and I'm glad

A place where everything is the same color
And I hear the Holy one speaks softly
Will you be mine forever and ever

Lord I thank you for your guiding light
So vivid and so bright causing delight
As I memorize the faint whisper, as dawn
Is rehearsed in my mind
That lifts a gentle and kind spirit
And bring to the surface of my
Blinded eye

Thank you my Lord
You are the reason why.
