America is freedom! Or should I say was. People come to this country for two main reasons, freedom and money. Freedom is why this country was founded. The freedom that people are now so willing to give away. A lot of people have given their lives for the freedom that people are now willing to give away. Our founding fathers are undoubtedly rolling in their graves. Protesting is as American as you can get. Some people say if you protest(such as burning the flag) you are anti-America and should leave this country if you don't love it. These people remind me of the parent who thinks their child can do no wrong. How dare you say that about my country. My country is a good country and don't you dare say anything negative about it. If your child is doing something wrong do you just ignore it or do you confront him? If you try to set him straight does that mean you hate him? You do so because you love him and want him to do right. Most protesters love their country very much and want it to be as great a country as it can be for everyone. People who say they don't care if the government listens to their phone calls or reads their E-mails because they are doing nothing wrong. Why should you care if you are doing nothing wrong? These people obviously don't give a damn about freedom. If you don't give a damn about freedom you are as anti-America as you can get. So I say to these people who think protesters should leave the country if they are anti-America, that they should be the ones to leave the country. They are the true anti-Americans. They should go to Cuba or North Korea where they are more than happy to exchange your freedom for security. We are now a country of cowards. People are so scared of dying that they are willing to give away their freedom, rip up the Constitution and Geneva Convention, and sacrifice our children in war. Suck it up! Grow a backbone! Be a man(or strong woman)! Deal with your neurotic fear and paranoia in a rational way. I guess we are going to have to change our Star Spangled Banner from land of the free and home of the brave to land of the paranoid and home of the cowards. I am willing to take my chances with the terrorists rather than give up freedom, Constitution, Geneva Convention, and sacrifice our children. It amazes me how people who claim they believe in heaven or an afterlife are so terrified of dying that they are willing to sacrifice their children. You take away freedom and America no longer exists.
