Ghosts Among us
They use to have bones
But now they don't
They slither like snakes in a sheet
Not a hiss
But a Boo! they make
Also they have no feet
White from the scare
Death brought to them
They wander about 'cause they're lost
In between worlds
They try to get out
No matter what the cost
If you're quiet enough
You can hear them about
Or feel them when you get a chill
Ever wonder about
Things that get lost?
It's their way of having a thrill
The other sock
You cannot find
A tree that grows a fungus
There's only one thought
When things happen to me
It must be the ghosts among us
