beat on a faster rate. If you don't suffer heart diseases, running will improve your cardiovascular health faster than walking. The frequency of your exercise is also important. Running is an exercise which requires between 3 and 5 runs of at least 30 minutes. Walking requires more frequency but it is an exercise which you already do in your daily life. You walk every day if you move from one place to another and also if you go to your car and every step in your house.
You can do both exercises together and incorporate them in your daily life. Both have benefits for your health and you can lose calories if you also pay attention to your diet. You also need to avoid eating too many sugars and fat otherwise you will gain back the calories you burned through exercise.
Running and walking are both good exercises for fitness but walking requires more time to reach the same goals. The intensity is lower but you need to decide which one will best meet your needs and it is really important that you like your exercise. It has no sense to waste time with an exercise you don't like if you want to improve your fitness. Walking is much easier but running requires fewer time to reach the same health effect and fitness condition.
