When the skies cry raindrops so warm
Pretty flowers are soon to be born
The green grass grows with each new drop
Spring showers seem to never stop
The rain seems to never stop
Never ending with every drip drop
Skies gray and dark so sad it be
Earth so wet here beneath me
Where is the sun up in the sky
It must be hiding to keep dry
Days of endless rain on end
Spring showers the sky must send
One day I wake and see the sun
Its like my life has just begun
Time to play and stretch my legs
Stay out all day my heart it begs
Now the sun is out for good
Brighten up this earth it would
May is here, no more spring showers
Only sun that lasts for hours
