I'm forty.
Am I naughty
If I tell you that I'm not?
That I'm only in my thirties
And can almost pass for hot'?
Now I've reached this milestone
Do I really have to change?
Is it downhill all the way because they say so?
Well, that's strange
I don't feel any older
It's not that big a deal
So say it together, everyone:
You're only as old as you feel!'

Turning 40?
What do you mean?
Been there done that.
And in between
Turning forty ain't nothing
You're hardly half

I tend to move quite slowly now,
and find aches when I do,
I find that stairs are murderous,
and toe nails
Feeling sad cause you're turning 40?
I'm twice that now and feel young and sporty.
I walk two miles most every day.
I do chores,
