Directions
are for those
who feel a necessity
to conform.
For me I prefer
a mystery or two
not just
to follow the norm.
Toss the map
out of the window,
be at peace
and not forlorn.
For freedom
from direction
will make you feel
reborn.

Who guides my path down dusty roads,
Where others fear to tread?
Who grants the courage I will need,
To stroll
The mechanical mistress
My husband travels around the state.
He goes to work early and comes home late.
He travels wide;
North, South, East and West
The trees are all in a peaceful rest.
We go here, we travel there,
The tree sits still, and fruit
