BATTLE FOR SANITY
Where ever I go,
Whatever I do,
My sanity finds it
harder and harder
to come through.
Harder and harder
to take over my mind,
the more difficult my
sanity is to find.
With each passing day,
it wonders more away.
While the ignorance of the world
continues to play.
The poverty,
the vain,
the stress and the strife,
the senseless violence
that keeps taking life.
When shall this end,
when will my mind be at peace?
When will the sanity of my ,ind
once again increase?
Will my sanity ever end the battle
and finally win?
Or will my conformity
to life's insanity
finally begin?
