Hazy speckled sunshine hope rips through me
Warm and tingling up my spine
Our eyes meet and for a moment I see
What I believe is God's true design
Truly, love, no longer me but "we."
Leaping onto a wistful and wonderful carpet ride
Sailing above my stark gray reality
My heart beats faster, I cannot hide
What your crooked smile has done to me
Finally, my angel, you have turned the tide.
We slice through the clouds and race the moon
We trip past bright stars and steal their tails
Knowing that the ride may be over soon
We choose to slow down to reflect on the pale
Reflection on the summer dazzled lagoon.
Once the ride stops we may not remember
The awe of our first hazel eyed meeting
But promise me love, you'll not shed a tear
Memories lose luster but they remain healing
I wish you all the wonderful your heart can bear.

Poetry: Wonderful
by Earl Demott
Melissa you are wonderful,
and though we were less than fifty steps away,
sitting in our cubicles,
reading our texts,
erasing
Wonderful
You are the light that leads me to shore, when ever there's doubt your face I adore.
Like sunshine in summer your
Wonderful.
I feel wonderful,
waking with the
tangerine sky.
Each day,
I am welcomed
by the comfort
in your eyes;
the warmth
by HL Moran
You share with me life's simple joys
Your smile, your laughter better still
The way you are with our beamish boys,
indulging
I stand in awe, by the waterfall,
cascading down like endless rain.
It fills the thirsty waiting pool,
and heals my aching
