The Weeping Woman
The weeping woman's soul knows God
He comforts her in her hour of need
The weeping woman's soul knows heartache and sorrow
The weeping woman's soul knows fear and agony
The weeping woman's soul knows an angel when she sees one
And I see one in you.
The weeping woman's soul knows God
He comforts her in her hour of need
The weeping woman's soul knows pain and anguish
The weeping woman's soul knows rejection and confusion
The weeping woman's soul knows an angel when she sees one
And I see one in you.
You see it's easy to recognize an angel
Because she soothes the broken heart and wipes away the tears
She listens, and she comforts and does not judge a bit
And then she guides the weeping woman to the arms of the Lord
The weeping woman's soul knows an angel when she sees one
And I see one in you.
