Betrayed
Betrayal that cut to the quick
Betrayal that left me numb
Betrayal of the man I loved
Betrayal that killed my soul
Betrayed by the man who said he cared
He did not care enough to be honest.
He went to another is the most intimate way
And betrayed our relationship in a disgusting way
Caught up in the lies of what he thinks he wants
Caught by a webbed cat who lies and cheats
Caught by a fetus that might be his
Caught by a duplicitous feline like a brainless mouse
Maybe she did me a favor
Maybe she cut me a break
Maybe she took the garbage that I never thought I'd hate
Betrayal that cut to the quick
Betrayal that left me numb
Betrayal of myself because I realized
The man I loved was no more
