It's our choice to carry or not to carry. It's a hard choice. We have guilt that drives us down beyond the depths of Hell. Baggage is baggage and it is hard to carry anywhere for any reason.
I guess it is all about forgiving oneself. Letting go and being able to grow from the experience that left that baggage.
It isn't easy and nothing is. But, we have to learn to move beyond circumstance and beyond where we are in life, to where we are suppose to go.
That is the key, the moving on beyond that circumstance that weighs us down and drags us into the muck of life. The key is to learn, grow and move beyond the experience that hinders us enough to steal our breath and wrestle with our soul.
Life is a gift, a gift for us to learn and grow from. A gift for us to experience many things. We have to allow ourself the short comings and baggage that come with life...as life experiences. We have no choice but to move forward and beyond our own circumstance.
The objective here is to learn, to grow, to experience and share our wisdom. We can only achieve that if we feel, breathe in, and take what is dealt. Learn from it, grow from it and move beyond it. And then teach others what we have learned, accomplished and dreamed.
We all have our dreams, our escapes, and we all need to be allowed to be human. That is what is hard. We do not allow ourself to be human, not for a second, a minute or in our life time. We think we have to be more than that. But, we are not. We are who we are, whet are dealt the cards we are dealt and we have to rise above and beyond circumstance to stand for what is right, what is expected and what we think we should do.
We have to let the baggage go or it will weigh us down so much that we will never rise above the circumstance that brought that baggage in the first place. Allow yourself to make mistakes and see where those mistakes bring us.
It's all about life and living and growing as we live. Let it happen with dignity and grace. Do not blame, do not search for reasons. Just move forward...as long as you are moving forward, you are moving and that is what matters.
You have the strength, you have the courage, you have what matters now make it count.
