I can write of little things
Of tiny sparrows spreading wings
Of blades of grass blowing wild
Tiny thoughts of tiny child
Little wonders, minute joys
Chidren's games, babies' toys
They all add up to something more
The essence of all that we live for
We feel a being behind the scenes
To meet whenever we find the means
He lets us know through little things
Silent 'scapes but still he sings
No timetable or rules in a list
You'll realise whatever you've missed
He has faith in all of us
Different routes to find what's just
I alone will plot my course
Nothing done to me through force
Choose your own but still remain
The sum of your joys and your pain
I will help you if I can
Instinctively as any man
