I've reached the bottom of the barrel
I'm scraping for all I'm worth
I'm looking hard for a companion
I've been looking since birth
I've exhausted all my connections
I've drained every thing I have
I'm just looking for a partner
To accompany me on my path
I've been so lonely for so long
Never had a better half
It's getting late in my forever
My situation is quite a laugh
I can't quite figure out my ill
Why is it I can't connect?
I'm halfway decent looking
I'm really not a total reject
So I'm scraping the bottom
Taking what I can find
I'll love her with my being
My soul, my heart, my mind
I don't want to be alone
When my time on earth is done
I'd like to be able to
Say good-bye to someone
A loving person of good repute
No other qualifications
Hold my hand and help me through
There will be no expectations
I'll be there for your pleasure
I'm from the bottom too
This barrel isn't so comfy
Unless I can run into you
It doesn't matter where in the barrel
One stands or sits or lays
As long as one can meet a special
Person of their nights and days
So whether I'm top or bottom
Whether you are in the middle
I'm looking for you desperately
I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel
It doesn't mean a bad thing
It doesn't mean we're rotten
All it means is we haven't found
Each other but we're not forgotten
There's always someone for each of us
Someone in the barrel somewhere
Top or bottom or middle placed
We'll find each other, don't despair

If you got the last two pickled-pig feet,
That were being sold by Grocer Drew,
Then you have just helped to rescue,
Piggy toes
I fell with a thud
through space
to the darkest recesses
one can face.
Oh, there is light.
I can see the glimmer
from my
You wonder why I left you
why there was no more love that I could give
you drained me of all my energy
almost no life left

I suppose you didn't think I'd make it;
I wasn't worth your time -
Probably thought there wasn't much value,
To this little
