The scars on my wrist
Too loud to hide
If only you could see
So many more inside
A trip or a fall
Wounds caused by me
Your words and glances
Cut ever more deeply
Day after day
Blue pain clouds my life
A fog, a veil
I can't feel outside
I wish and I pray
I scream till I cry
I get no return
I feel no reply
I'm surrounded by people
But I feel so alone
For with me sorrow knows
It always has a home
