Let's examine the religious concept that human beings are created in God's image. What is that image?
Looking into the mirror, we see the tall and short, the fat and thin, the skin of black, white, red and many shades of all. Some human beings come with black, blond, red, or brown hair, eyes of hazel, green, blue, or brown, and we work at making changes when we can. Such a diversity of human existence!
God created the snowflakes as individual in design and beauty. And look at what they can do when they combine in a pile of compatibility? Would He do any less with humanity?
In all this diversity and uniqueness of the individual, just where does the image of God fit? What is in each and every human entity?
Spirit is the quality that exists in all of us. God is spirit. And in this spirit is the oneness of all life in human existence. As the God spirit breathes life into the material vibration and starts life, so it flows through all human life. This makes us all brothers and sisters in God and a hurt done to one is felt by the whole of creation.
In the conclusion that the human image of physical body is not the same and consistent with God's design, how could any organ be a part of that existence?
From Pierre Teilhard de Chardin: We are not a human being having a spiritual experience. We are a spiritual being having a human experience.
We live a human life on earth to learn and grow in spirituality. The more we learn, the more spiritually our spirit can find its place of progression and growth. We are body, mind, and spirit even as we live this human life, learning and growing. We do not go to spirit realms, our spirit transitions from the material vibration of the physical body, and leaves it behind at death. The spirit continues to exist on another vibration.
At death of the physical body we leave behind all that is of the material vibration, including all the emotions, urges, organs and feelings that define the human complex. In spirit form we learn and grow without these human traits that exist in the material life of the physical body. The spirit body is intact with its memories in mind and the soul growth we have learned through the human experience.
In human life we reproduce through our experiences of relationships of male and female. The organs necessary for this reproduction to seed the earth will not longer be a part of the spiritual growth when the body dies. God creates, He does not need this form to reproduce. This is the co-creating effect of human existence.
