Awakening
A sleeping giant has been awakened
Her people bloodied, scarred and torn.
They cry out for her to hear
She weeps
For all those lost
And yet to come.
She must respond.
Defeat the terror,
That has gripped her people in such horror.
As she raises to this task
She shrieks.
She screams.
She cries.
Her battle cries heard round the world.
With all people rallying to her side
On wings of justice
She will fly.
Hunting out the terror's nest
Until the enemy is laid to rest.

As

A Perfect Selection
I rise unto thee by lightning of a dream
by a streaking star and the glow of its beam
I give unto thee
Like a flaming star
the palingenetic, deathless phoenix
ascends amidst roiling tongues of fire
lifted unto the heavens

Awakening while asleep, creates you to who you are.
Sleeping awakens life, to die from a wakening death.
From the very beginning,
I come to tell you goodbye,
and that dreams are only dreams,
and that I used to dream about loving you,
but I now I'm awake.
