It takes little to endear me
It takes little to endear me.
A kiss as he gets out of bed.
A cup of coffee when I'm sitting
With my hand supporting my head.
A piece of chocolate when
I really think I need a piece.
Or a smile when we leave for the day
These little things seem to go a long way.
We take a ride and he holds my hand
He surprises me with the small
He doesn't have to work on the grand.
The little things make me content.
He keeps me with a lot of love
And shows me with a lot of little things.
He rubs my shoulders, or gives a hug
He listens to my music and even sings.
I love the things he gives so willingly
I anticipate what the next little will be.
He keeps me happy
With the many little things he gives.
