Poetry: Bottom of the barrel

by D. J. Poe

Created on: April 25, 2008

I don't have to steal your money,

You're ready to give it away.

Your wife and kids are hungry;

But that's alright today.

There are bill collectors knocking,

Well,"let them knock",you say.

You have nothing to offer them

So they'll just go away.

I'm the bottom of the barrel;

The next best thing to death.

I ruin your teeth and hold hard to your life;

My name...is Crystal Meth.
