I learned when I was very young
Of North, South, East and West
I also learned that many males
Won't put me to the test

In fact, I do believe it's true
That females know the way
But end up with a guy behind a wheel
Who's gone astray

Could it just be an ego thing
That males seem to possess
To drive around so aimlessly
Without a second guess

They won't ask for directions
Even though they have no clue
Of how to get from A to B
And won't admit it's true

I've spent more time on winding roads
Or miles out of the way
And all because a guy behind the wheel
Got in the way

Next time, I'll keep my mouth shut
Or maybe place a bet
To see if he can really take me where
I need to get

But somehow deep inside I know
That I will never win
I'm doomed to always get there late
If the driver is a "him"

I guess that maps were made for girls
As they can read them best
So use too arriving late
We never second guess

When asked, a man, who driving,
where he's going, he'll say "yes"
But if he's lost, just understand
He never will confess
