Spirituality is enigmatic by nature and understanding. It has many tangible explanations and is commonly today a claim by a Christian foundation or religion to be an infilling of the Holy Spirit on acceptance of Christ into your life. A Ruse to draw the masses to the focal point of a religious, man interpreted, based faith.
I don't doubt that there is a Holy Spirit, or spirit guide, or even the ability to talk in tongues that will touch your life in one shape form or another, what I doubt is the interpretation by men, yet as a man I give you my interpretation, which in a sense is probably no better than that which I have thus far responded to negatively.
Why is it enigmatic by nature and understanding? Primarily because man tends to give it a creedance as a separate entity that wanders the earth in search of would be candidates or souls to use its power through them for healing, leading, and teaching. Whilst in part some of this maybe true, we have no real clear evidence that this is so, despite miracle workings, a miracle being something that cannot be explained.
Spirituality to mankind is a power much like a magnet. It can be felt, you can be pulled and pushed by it, and you can be humbled by it and exalted to an internal joy that overflows through your eyes. Whether it is an entity or not, it is most definitely a force within everyone no matter your religious or nonreligious beliefs. It is constant, was with you before you were born into this world and will be with you when you leave this world. It is the law of attraction that bonds all men together irrespective of colour or creed, it is the force which bonds family and friends across the globe and is the ESP agent of problems we seem to pick up on when a friend or family member is in trouble. It is something that can be exercised and used, however is halted through diet, smoking, alcohol and many other toxins we place within ourselves in search for the vacancy that we feel within in times of trouble or stress, when in fact we should be turning to this power freely given and available to all.
It is only enigmatic because we do not accept that the power is within every one of us and there is coming a time in the maturity of man when this will become our new medium of communication, which is happening as I write. It will eliminate the need for a computer and many other aids that this world seems necessary at the moment.
It is a power that built pyramids and ruled a civilisation long before us and ultimately is a power that connects man with his Creator. It is a singular power that unites all men as one from the beginning to the end. It is a power when many are gathered it has a force to heal, not by the guy on the pulpit, but by the community itself. It is little understood, which is why it can have diverse effects such as mob rule which explodes when like mined people join ranks, who not understand the power controlling them; instead of it aiding the situation they are in, it becomes confusion as there is no direction.
Spirituality is a phenomenal power, which is little understood because of the manipulation it has had over the years through soothsayers and political forces that have driven it underground through witchcraft mythology. We should be thankful for the formation of democracy in life situations, which is allowing this tremendous inherent factor to come alive again in a way that can only put joy back into civilisation, as we know it.
Om! Amen!
