Poetry: Morning meditations

by Christine Yahwndura Sherriff Malone

Created on: April 25, 2008

What is there to do to make the day go by?
Shall I just sit here thinking of what else to do
Outside of rubbing these tired eyes?
Reminiscense fills my thoughts of the success i've acquired.
As I see this day, there is none of which I was aspired.
Make haste, make haste - lift yourself from lazy place,
Or you'll end up ten years from today with the same tired face.
Waiting for someone to else to make available what God has equipted in you.
Stop procrastinating and do what you gotta do.
