I Hear You
I understand the reason,
You chose to go away.
I know it was the season,
None could make you stay.
I wish I had paid more care,
To listen to your voice.
If we had tried more to share,
You would not have made this choice.
So now the time has passed us by,
And I hope that you forgave,
Still, I hear your lonely cry,
Rising from your grave.
