It sounded so good
It tasted so sweet
I'd let myself slide
And go
Into your arms
Into your world
We'll do it my way
You'd say
Softly
So so Softly
Okay.
I fell in your way,
Down and down and down I went
So far
That I didn't know what I meant
It was all fine until you said
Leave me.
I remember your way
I remember it well
I longed for it, missed it
Hard and long
But now
I know not to stray too far from my own
Personal, unbreakable way, which is partly yours too
Thank you.
