My Mother
My mentor, guide, counselor,teacher,
and my friend.
All of these and more.
She guided my steps,
from the beginning,encouraging me
take one step then another,
when I learned to walk
she taught me to run.
My mother showed me how to be strong
and when to be weak.
she taught me how to love
showed me how to forgive.
Compassion and kindness,
these words help guide
her life. (I hope they guide mine.)
She taught me to embrace life,
enjoy the good times,
look for that silver lining.
She showed my how to cope
when life deals are harsh.
she taught me
laughter is truly the best medicine
my mother will never be to far away
always there to guide me
always in my heart
I hope for those who loved her,
you will find, that in my laughter
you will hear my mother's.

In the dark of night
In the storms and the

Mother, a reflection of her soul.
Standing tall even though the world towers above her.
Beautiful creature, wonderful sister

Sunlight on brown hair
the beauty of her stare
the way she would just sit with me
how wonderful her laughter of glee
I love
