Poetry: Peace

"Peace Prayer for Our Earth"

Console me/us Divine Master for turbulent currents of sin swell the air.
Anger and war glitters like smirking frost, like thunder drumming over anguished pulses ba-da-boom, ba-da-boom.
Sometimes slowly, silently, covering, smothering souls where there should only be butter, sugar, and honey.
A ripened sweetness should branch out but doesn't.

Maybe it only trickles here and there?
Turn raven-like hearts into dove-like hearts.
Show us about peace action and reaction.
Make anger, confusion, and war a black and red ghost.

O Great One: do flare our nostrils wide so we can smell the saucy sunshine, crisp and bright.
O Great One: do perk our ears so we can hear the emerald water droplets playing, kerplops and splishes.
O Great One: do let us borrow your hands so we may touch nature's power, wild volcanoes and tornados.
O Great One: do crack our lids so our mortal eyes see the piercing, pounding pain of war utensils, splicing and dicing.
O Great One: do part our lips so we can get a mere taste of peace's eternal foundation, strong and free.
O Great One: do carve us a third-eye so we can sense the living love and shield out the withered souls and minds of each "cherry-pit", for none is pardoned nor excused.

Restore our serene sphere.
Take back life's hazards.
Aid the spirits of war to glide from the flames just as the phoenix.
Brush the tattered tears of the shattered hulks.
Set the sunrays free mellow gold, mellow gold.
Envelope people's despair.
Bury the erratic, cyclonic war thoughts and bloody actions of the foe.
Water the white poppy, palm frond, and mistletoe.
Place that vibrant rainbow arch above our heads.

Let's rearrange the horn o' plenty with all the peace objects and add a little of Emeril's "Bam!"

Let the weather forecast say nothing but peace for all the seasons.

Please Divine Master, God, Creator, and all other names known by; restore our pearlized souls.
Remind us of innocent childhood where everything was a curious treasure to us!
