Little Things
It's the little things of life
That make it very sweet,
Like teddy bears, and cups of tea,
And buying kids a treat.
It shouldn't take a lot of time,
Or cost a load of cash,
To give a gift of a little thing,
This can be done in a flash.
Pop out today and buy a gift,
A tiny treat will do,
It needn't be a great big thing,
Just to say "from me to you".
A greetings card, a chocolate bar,
Or even just a smile,
And the gift of love is no small thing,
But can last a long, long while.
