LOVE
Love comes in bunches much like flowers
Daisies, lillies, rose red blooms
Bouquets of scents full of the garden
Bringing beauty to my soul's dark rooms
Pick a petal, pick a posie
Does he love me, does he not?
O the question matters little
When I am myself besot
And yet love comes in spring's soft showers
Though storm clouds gather I raise my face
For I am parched and need the rain
To replentish me and grant me grace
April showers bring May flowers
Does love have its ups and downs?
O the question matters little
When my smile becomes a frown
And so love comes and goes in lifetimes
For love be fickle and love be fair
Whenever we love we risk a heartbreak
We never love that we do not care
Ring around the moon this evening
Ring around the stones tonight
Ring around my right fourth finger
A kiss for love and we say good night...
