Can't help but hold on
A love like no other
Between a daughter and mother

Disagreements yes
Levels of stress
Daughter thinks she knows all
But mother is there to pick up her falls

In common they have features of the face
Within their hearts love is in place
Cherished moments till the end
Mother and daughter are more like best friends

Mutual understanding of life's aches and pains
Mother teaches daughter lessons of the game
Wiser and older are mother's thoughts
Daughter appreciates this with all she's got

Love for each other in such a beautiful way
Right by mother's bedside daughter will lay
Any ounce of heart ache mother may have
Daughter will be there to take apart the sad

Protective mother over daughter
Protective daughter over mother
Naturally linked by matters of the heart
Nothing in this world will tear them a apart

So tight a bond no one can break
So strong a love, could never be fake
Mother and daughter complete each other
