Why do we place ads? Is it to fill up the empty spaces in a website with colorfully banners? Absolutely not. Ads are the souls of content based website. Websites that sell products profit from selling but websites that give free information to the public has the only option of placing ads to generate revenue.
OK how do the website owners ask for people to advertise on their sites? Its even simple due to introduction of ad networks. Ad networks is like a salad where you can get all type of ads for your site. Some salads are good but some are tasteless.
How to find a good ad salad(I meant network)? The best way is, it should have the following qualities:
-> It should offer various types of ad units that fits into your website design.
-> IT should have a large network of advertisers relevant to your website category.
-> It should pay on time(You can check it from other reviewers).
-> It is better to have PPC,PPL & PPS in the network.(even CPM ads are also good)
On my experience I suggest people to use commission Junction(cj.com) for good amount of money. You can easily earn by this network as there are many Pay Per Lead(PPL) offers are there.
Next thing is Google's Adsense. I am making money with adsense but not as much as CJ.
Next site is shareasale.com, this is also a good affiliate site where you get a number of advertisers and a variety of ad units to place in your site.
