Life is what you make of it. Some people think that you can mess around because they will live long. Life can sometimes cut you off when you at least expect it too. When I was working as a nurses aid at a retirement home there was this really fit elderly man who could be in his mid 70s and every day he would jog around the retirement home. Well one day when I was taking some people down to lunch I saw him jogging and all of a sudden he fell flat on his face. The paramedics tried to revive him but no luck.
I like the similes that life is a road there is no turning back and no looking back. Every road has its twist and turns and full of hills some steep and some shallow. Other times you might get lost on a dark street and sometimes it takes you where you least expect it too. The bumps and curves of the road are the conflicts or tribulations of life and the hills are the ups and downs of life. Filled with choices and obstacles that you must decide on the right ones and learn from the wrong mistakes.
It is all about making choices and taking chances. If you don't take chances you might miss out on something that you waited your whole life to do. Sometimes you might make the wrong choice or go down the wrong road. Sometimes people take the wrong road and get trapped by temptation and cannot seem to get back to the right direction. Nobody can tell you how to live your life that is up to you but there are people in your life that try to point you in the right direction.
It is filled with drama and excitement, mysteries and romance, a book that has no writing that only you can create. A movie with pictures and people but no words and no direction. Or as the saying goes in Forest Gump "life is a box of chocolates, you never know what you will get" sometimes you may not like and other times you might love it. Life is short and something you should never take for granted. Life is full of opportunities that you should take full advantage of. So live your life to the fullest.
Some people live their whole lives and got everything that dreamed about doing done while others are told that they only have a few weeks, days and even years to live and only have a limited time to do everything they dreamed of doing
