Poetry: Always

by Kelly A. Mello

Created on: April 24, 2008

You always sleep during movies,
You always drink my diet coke.
You always drive way too fast,
And you're always broke.

You always have smelly feet,
You always put your feet in my face,
You always yell when playing games,
Because you always lose in every case.

You always wear the same clothes,
Always blue shirt and pants,
You always have scruff,
Always going off on rants.

But

You always say you're not sleeping,
And always grab me a drink.
You always slow down when I ask,
And always find deals when you think.

You always hide your feet,
You always like to play,
You always like a challenge,
Always trying again the next day.

You always look good to me,
Always, no matter what you wear,
Your face always makes me smile,
My rants you always bear.

I will always love you,
Always you should know,
Even with all your quirks,
I'll always love you so.
