Yes, of course gore should be used in movies. Just because some people don't like gore doesn't mean that other people don't that's why we use the rating system. If gore was taken out of some movies then it would be less stimulating. If you wouldn't want your kids watching gore either don't buy the movie or keep a lock on your t.v. (that's what my parents did to me). I also think that if they took out gore from movies that the financial ramifications to movie company would be detrimental. Gore is essential in some movies for example 30 days of night would become a dull boring movie that nobody wants to watch. In my opinion gore is the most exciting thing in a movie (except the plot). Gore is the most vital element of some movies but I agree if there is to much gore then I will stop watching the movie wherever I am. Even though some movies are under developed and the movie theme is not conveyed appropriately when there is excessive gore, the focal point becomes the gore and not the message of the script writer most movies are okay with the gore. Just so you know I understand that some people don't like gore but it's my personal opinion that gore is AWESOME! So I think that gore should stay in present day movies or I would go on strike so gore would be put back into movies because otherwise it would be a terrible lose to my life because I love the movies with gore in it. I understand some people are very squeamish, sensitive, and may faint at the sight of blood but not many people are, although I am not very squeamish or sensitive. squeamish people should learn how to get past their fear of blood and gore to learn that sometimes it can be interesting to see the special effects of the violence. Even though sometimes the special effects can be a little too unrealistic, they are usually pretty good graphics that seem lifelike and jump off the screen. Speaking of graphics, in case you didn't know that's all the violence is graphics, but sometimes they can be so realistic. I probably will never have to trouble myself though because they will never take gore out of movies (at least I hope they don't).
