Poetry: Always

by Morton Templeton

Created on: April 24, 2008

Always, I am always
scraping the
bottom of the barrel
don't ask why
or a
free-for-all
could break out
every one
get ready
Look for the one thing to stop
my hunger

I hear you
in your
morning mediations
reading from
notebooks
wondering why

I say take
responsibility
for
spring showers
the jungle
and the rain forest
before you are
turning forty

Two heart
and many more should
be wide open to
the wonderful
of your way
