I want to quit my job today
And leave this place behind
I want to walk forbidden streets
In the shadows of my mind
I want to leave this straight and narrow
I want to cross that broken bridge
I want to stumble off this well-lit path
And see what else there is
I'd like to follow no one
And find out what nothing is
Tip-toe through some dark unknown
Grope blindly for some transparent bliss
I want to give up all I have
And never look over my shoulder
Open a door I've never seen
As my heart and soul grow bolder
The sun comes up, the sun goes down
In my everyday
I keep following my footsteps
I want to lose my way
Stuck here in this timezone
Where everything stays the same
Lord give a world less solid
I just need to lose my way

In the shadows of my mind
I want to
How many days have passed you by
While you frittered away precious time?
Seize life and death you'll defy.
You've sat on the
Where am I?
What is this land I see - where the
dimensions fade and the winds blend with the
sea as if inseparable through
