Poetry: Love does not die

If I could find Gods book of life,
Of days left for my soul,
I'd share those precious days with you,
Together we'd grow old.

Though time would still pass quickly,
we'd hold on to each day.
And never waste a minute,
get up fast and stay up late.

If miracles could grow on trees,
we'd climb the highest limbs,
we'd use up all those miracles,
while dancing in the wind.

We'd gaze upon the ocean.
Each tiny grain of sand.
Every wonder of God's Earth,
we would now understand.

Then when we were ready,
but not til we were done,
We'd walk away together,
into the setting sun...

But, God he has a different plan,
of days left planned for you,
And dreams of dancing in the wind,
must, in our dreams, come true.

We'll walk together in our dreams,
And there we will not part.
Though I can't share my days with you,
You know you own my heart.
